Self Made Beauty believes that all young girls should have positive, caring and influential role models mentoring them no matter what environment they grow up in. Therefore, our mission is to educate and empower young girls to make positive life choices so they can grow up to be influential leaders of many.

Phedra Thomas is a Georgia native . She earned her Diploma in Criminal justice from Southern Crescent Technical College and a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from Strayer University. Phedra is married to her high school sweetheart Derrius Thomas which they have three children. Phedra has a background in law enforcement and cosmetology. She is a member of Grace Baptist Church and The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). Phedra has made a commitment to combat the insidious crimes of human trafficking that destroy the victims and their families. Phedra’s hope is the resources shared with our youth during monthly meetings bring awareness and spark interest to intervene. In addition, bridging the gap with our youth and law enforcement to help build trust.
